Winnipeg is a city of extreme contrasts, especially when it comes to the weather. The winters are typically long, snowy, and very cold. The summers, by contrast, are short and can be incredibly hot! Winnipeg residents take advantage of the summer weather as much as possible.

Winnipeg has several nice parks scattered throughout its boundaries, with Assiniboine Park Gardens, located adjacent to the Assiniboine River, being one of my favourites. I have attached a few pics taken at the English gardens and Leo Mol sculpture garden. The Winnipeg Zoo is directly adjacent to the Park.

I've also attached a few pictures from the Osborne Village area.
